Who we are?
Charles Edward Stallons decided early one morning that he was tired of waking hours before daylight to work another endless construction site day. He told his good friend Cecil Dickson of his plans of quitting and his friend replied, “you’re not going to quit without me!” Well…. with good old entrepreneur spirit “and the necessity of feeding three young children at home” Charles began a new chapter selling cars. Charles later known by friends and family as “Big Daddy,” was a provider for many through the years, and keeping his name in good standing is very important.
Time doesn’t wait for anyone…. as changes come we’ve all had to adapt. As a business and as a family, we’ve all had our challenges, but the 60 year longevity of Charles Stallons Used Cars should be proof we know this business. One of the changes we’ve seen over the past years is that it’s become virtually impossible to find a high quality low mileage cars. Today, families and companies are stretching every dollar and keeping cars longer. Today, a majority of the used vehicle traded-ins have 120,000 plus miles on the clock. Several dealers make a living reselling these cars and trucks, heck we have a few ourselves. However, selling a lower priced “high mileage” vehicle is not always doing the customer a favor. Let’s face it, after anything gathers a few years, the opportunities for disappointment become more likely. For several years now, Stallons Used Cars has been selling mostly late model “rebuilt” vehicles. This is not a new concept, but taking into account our years of experience, we feel we’re by far the best in providing a premium quality product. We are very proud to offer a large selection of late model, low mileage vehicles at affordable prices. Please email us with question or comments. If you are looking for a certain vehicle and it’s not listed on our website, please let us know. We may have what you’re looking for at a different lot.
What does it mean if a vehicle has a rebuilt title?
After vehicles are involved in an accident, sometimes insurance companies decide it’s not economical to repair. Companies will declare the vehicle a total loss and the title is then classified as salvage. Depending on the severity of the damage, most late model vehicles are auctioned and others are sold to salvage yards for parts only. A rebuilt title is issued after a vehicle has been repaired and inspected by a state official to verify the vehicle is roadworthy.
What’s involved rebuilding a vehicle?
Most importantly is finding the right vehicle. We are constantly searching for vehicles that offer the best value and require a minimal amount of repairs. The rebuild process itself is one of the areas we’re most proud. Years of experience have taught us not to cut corners. Countless hours are spent locating the best OEM parts and supplies. We meticulously make the repairs and take the time necessary to confirm all the lines are straight. In addition, we’ve recently built a new shop just for prepping and painting to ensure we always match the factory finish. We are exceptionally committed to the quality and proud we can offer vehicles which in most cases are less than three years old and have 15,000 miles or less. We feel we are offering the best in value and longevity in vehicle purchasing.
